This is an image of a gold nanoparticle as reconstructed from a diffraction pattern. The brightness is a measure for the thickness of the gold.
So you think it looks blurry? I suggest you reflect on the fact that it is a gold particle on a NANOSCALE! It is just awesome. :-)
