Solar granules on the quiet solar surface look pretty neat. What is special with this image though, is the white spots revealing hotter spots from the inner photosphere of the Sun (darker is cooler areas)
Thanks to more 'action' on the Sun again (more spots) we get to enjoy auroras. The Sun has so many 'faces'. :-)
