Sorry, I couldn't help myself. It is less dramatic than those headlines. It is just that we've discovered how to mass produce positrons in a laboratory. Positrons being the real name of the anti matter here...,-)

This article is exhilaratingly interesting. Among the best scientificblogging.com offers. Growing up on the countryside I observed the lives of ants from their waking up in spring to their disappearance in fall. I did however not notice the microfungal pathogen and bacterium, I have to admit. But I always loved watching ants. Still do, actually. Local ant on the image. :-)

Endeavour at ISS

Space shuttle Endeavour arrives as the International Space Station with the 'home improvement' crew. They are going to drink urine and place the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in the European Columbus laboratory module, among others.

Yet another success in space! :-)
